We’re thrilled to announce that Betty Ann Norton Theatre School (B.A.N.T.S) is opening Speech and Drama classes for children in Glenageary.
Starting September 10th 2026, children in 3rd-6th class can join our brand new Thursday afternoon Junior Speech and Drama classes at St. Paul’s Parish Centre, Adelaide Road. Whether your child has years of experience or is completely new to drama, this exciting new class is the perfect way to build confidence, creativity, and communication skills—while making new friends and having fun.
What Makes This Class Special?
Because this is a brand new offering in Glenageary, students will be part of the very first group to shape and grow the class community.
The 2.5 hour class is broken into the two parts; firstly, we cover vocal exercises, reading aloud, story-telling, public speaking and solo performance pieces. Secondly, we cover group scenes, improvisation, mime, and character work. Term 1 works towards solo pieces for drama grade exams, and Term 2 prepares the students for drama competitions as well as a production in a professional theatre.
