We offer a range of Speech and Drama classes in Dún Laoghaire for children and teenagers aged 6 to 18. Our small class sizes ensure that each student receives individual attention and feedback. With the support of our dedicated teachers, students build confidence, enhance their speech clarity, and develop their creativity. We lay a strong foundation in technique that people carry with them throughout their lives, both on and off the stage.
Our venue
We feel that a working space is very important to our classes. Our Dún Laoghaire base is the Parish Centre Hall in Dún Laoghaire Presbyterian Church on York Road. The centre is located 10 minutes from the town centre and across the road from the home that our founder Betty Ann Norton and her husband Michael shared for many years.
The impressive 19th Century gothic features of the church inspire the imagination, while the cosy, well-lit Parish Hall creates a welcoming environment that encourages creativity and exploration in our students.
With plenty of space to move about, and exceptional acoustics, it’s perfect for movement and vocal work.
Getting Here
The Parish Centre Hall is at the back of the church on the right-hand side. When you enter the church gates, turn immediately right and continue on the path to the back of the church, where you’ll see the door to the parish centre on the left.
By public transport
The school can be reached by Dublin Bus routes E2 and L25, or by taking the 4, 7, 7a, 8, 45a, 45b, 59, 75, 111 and walking for 10 minutes. It’s a 10-15 minute walk from the Dún Laoghaire DART station.

There is parking available at the church and a bicycle rack.
