Booterstown Pastoral Centre

We are delighted to announce suite of a NEW children’s and teenager’s speech and drama opening in Booterstown in Autumn 2026 in Boosterstown Pastoral Centre.

Our small class sizes ensure that each student receives individual attention and feedback. With the support of our dedicated teachers, students build confidence, enhance their speech clarity, and develop their creativity. We lay a strong foundation in technique that people carry with them throughout their lives, both on and off the stage.

Throughout the year, students can participate in solo and group competitions, take Grade examinations with the Royal Irish Academy of Music, and perform in a full-scale production at a professional theatre. Our classes are enjoyable, and we are passionate about what we teach. At Betty Ann Norton Theatre School, we believe in “serious play!”

Our venue

We feel that a working space is very important to our classes. Our Booterstown base is at Booterstown Pastoral Centre at 67 Booterstown Avenue. The centre is a few minutes walk from the Booterstown Dart station and a few minutes drive from Blackrock, Merrion, and Stillorgan.

Getting Here

Classes take place in Booterstown Parish Pastoral Centre which is on the right hand side when you enter the grounds. Meet a staff member in the lobby and classes take place in the downstairs hall to the right past the lobby.

By public transport

The school can be reached by Dublin Bus routes 4, 7, 7A, E2, 181. It’s just beside the Booterstown dart station. The S6 also services with about a 15 minute walk.

Parking

There is limited temporary parking available at the church as well as nearby street parking and a bicycle rack.
