This 1 hour class provides an excellent introduction to the world of drama and theatre. We build a strong foundation in speech and drama skills through poetry recital, storytelling, mime, and improvisation. Additionally, we work with students on speech clarity, and develop play skills with lots of fun games.

Our Step 1 Speech and Drama Classes are perfect for children aged 4-6, in Junior or Senior Infants. In keeping with the school year, we split our classes into two terms, with each term building towards a showcase for family and friends.
Dates for 2026 / 2027
Term 1: September – December 2026
Our dedicated teachers work with students to build a strong foundation in speech and drama skills through poetry, storytelling, and drama. Also, we develop play skills through lots of fun drama games, which is especially useful for starting a new school year.

Term 2: January – May 2027
We work with students to continue developing their skills through a balance of challenge and fun. Finally, students can share their progress with family and friends in an end-of-term showcase.

- No Class on St. Patrick’s Day Wednesday March 17th

Fees
Each 1 hour class costs €20, and students enrol and pay their fees at the start of each term. Additionally, we offer discounts for siblings and returning students, get in touch with us to avail of your discount.

Joining mid-year
We welcome new students to our Step 1 classes at any point during the year if there’s space available, and no previous drama experience is required for joining.
