Teen Youth Theatre

Our Teen Youth Theatre workshops offer a dynamic approach to learning about theatre making.

Each week, participants will explore different aspects of acting and theatre, including movement, voice, and improvisation. We introduce various theatre practitioners and their methods, providing a rich foundation in performance techniques. We’ll dive into scenes and duologues from a range of plays, allowing students to experiment with diverse characters and styles.

In addition to performance exercises, we’ll explore aspects of technical theatre and design, allowing students to explore their interests in directing, design, and more.

Teen Youth Theatre is suitable for participants aged 13-18 in 1st – 6th year of secondary school. Beginners and advanced students are welcome.

Term Dates and Fees for 2026/2027

Each 2 hour workshop is €10 per week. Enrolment is on a per-term basis, you can join at any stage, and fees are paid per term.

Term 1: September – December 2026

• Starts: Week commencing 31st August
• Ends: Week ending 13th December
• Holidays: October Mid-term Break (Monday October 26th-Sunday November 1st inclusive)
• Duration: 14 weeks
• Cost: €140 (option to pay in instalments)

Term 2: January – May 2027

• Starts: Week commencing 4th January
• Ends: Week ending 30th May
• Holidays:
  • No Class February Midterm Monday-Sunday February 15th-21st inclusive
  • No Class on St. Patrick’s Day Wednesday March 17th
  • No Class Easter Break Monday March 22nd to Sunday April 4th inclusive
• Duration: 18 weeks
• Cost: €180 (option to pay in instalments)
